Gen Kelsang Demo is the Midwestern US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington DC. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for more than 25 years and has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism since 1998.

Gen Demo is deeply respected as a teacher and practitioner. She demonstrates a wealth of practical knowledge and provides clear and inspiring teachings for people of all levels of interest.

Gen Demo will grant the Empowerment and give the teachings on Saturday and Sunday.

Gen Kelsang Dorje, Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Madison, has been studying and practicing Buddhism for over 20 years. Gen Dorje is admired for his warmth and humor in making Buddha’s teachings relevant to the modern world. Gen Dorje will give the introductory talk on Friday evening.

Gen Kelsang Zamling, Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago, has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and has taught in the United States and in the UK. Gen Zamling is known for his practical approach, warmth, and clarity, and sets an immaculate example of someone who has taken Buddha’s teachings to heart. Gen Zamling will lead the morning meditations.
